Paid this company $2895 January 2012 to help us with a loan modification. My house is now in foreclosure status. I have only missed Jan. Feb and March payment. They tell you they have you approved with your lender for principal reductions and interest rate reductions. Our lenders had no idea a loan modification was being done with this company as this company did not of what they promised us. The man who faithfully contacted us every Tuesday no longer calls us, returns my calls or emails us. I have filed a complaint with California's BBB, the FTC, Attorney Generals Office, my Police Department who will then forward to California Police Department, and am continuing my fight on getting my money back. Next step is a real estate attorney. The company claims they mailed out the request form for a refund and I am still waiting on that form as well. I have submitted my own docs for a loan mod and am hoping to not lose my home. Through my own investigation I have learned that this company was previously another company called Home Care Alliance where they pulled this same scam. The Attorney Generals Office has stated that you are NEVER to PAY ANYONE to to a loan modification as they are FREE to do. I have report numbers to prove my allegations and documentation to support all that is written.
