I start by saying I can't say enough good things about New Era Debt Solutions! I was on workshare for over 2 years and had trouble paying my bills, including my mortgage. When I couldn't make the mortgage-that was a wake-up call: I just had to do something. Against the advice of all my friends who told me "all debt settlement companies are a SCAM- you will be in worse shape than you were before", I researched for 3 months and made the call to New Era in December 2009.
It was the BEST decision I made. Shirley Vernola, my initial contact and Brian Orlando, my negotiator were, and are, top-notch professionals. It was not an easy decision to make, but New Era led me through the whole process beginning to end on that first call. They didn't lie or hold back, they told the truth about what to expect and how to handle it and were ALWAYS just a phone call away to answer any question I might have.
During the settlement process, I became fully unemployed and had trouble meeting my obligations to the settlements in process. Brian Orlando was very supportive, even telling me not to worry about making my payments to New Era, he said "Don't default on your settlements, I will stop the payments to us in the meanwhile. We will work it out later-just get your creditors paid!". A company that puts the well-being of its customers first-imagine that!!!!
My accounts, including New Era, were fully settled as of March 2011 and for less than half what was owed.
Everyone's situation is different and yours may take longer than mine, but the one thing you can count on is New Era. They go above and beyond the "call of duty". If you are reading this and have any doubts, I can say DON'T!! You can't go wrong with New Era. They make the whole process less intimidating and are just a phone call away anytime you need them. Everything is as advertised and above-board. Don't hesitate and just make the call-you won't regret doing business with them.
