NACA to the rescue! My 80 year old wife Lillie and I found ourselves deep in the foreclosure process. Due to some creative accounting on the part of ShellPoint Servicing, the money we had sent to pay our back payments got applied to the principle instead. In steps Nick and his team at NACA. We did a conference call to the lender where Nick quickly pointed out the error in their accounting and he was able to recall the $6,000 we had paid and get them to apply it to our payments instead of the principle.
