On May 27th of this year I moved to a house by using NorthStar moving company, on scheduled date & time 4 people showed up, 1 speaks 50% English and the rest combined 50%, nothing is wrong in not knowing the language, but in a case like this somebody has to be fluent, but it's not a problem, the apartment that I moved from was on second floor, at the apartment they broke the PA system which I told them I fix it, they broke the light fixture on the stairway which they did not notify me about by they cleaned the evidence, I found out accidentally at night when the stairway was dark, the move was on Friday, on Saturday I had company over and I started opening the boxes, I opened Crystal glassware box and found 75% broken even though I had the boxes marked Fragile, I sent the company an e-mail and they responded next day by e-mail and a phone call, saying that I signed for an insurance for the amount of 60 cents per pound for damages which there was not another choice, so I estimated my crystal damage and it came to about $8, not even worth talking about, since we were settling down, we were opening boxes when ever we made room for the contents, next damage was few plates after that my paper shredder which luckily was not too much about $80, I still have unopened boxes in the garage, ready to be discovered. I personally had bad experience with NorthStar Moving company, I would not recommend it.
