OGPlanet is a Game Hosting company. They host various game ranging from racing / fighting whatever it may be. Among those they host, Cabal online stands out the most. It appeases the taste of many MMO seekers because of its flashy graphics and simple game play.
However, OGPlanet as a management company is a major disaster. There have been several recorded incidents in the past where the Game Masters will show favors to a certain person or a group of people. They will deliver disciplinary actions on a biased perspective to those privileged individuals.
An example, Person A is favored and Person B is just a nobody. If Person A commits an offense that is Bannable they will not be banned, however Person B commits the same action but because he is Person B he is banned. There have been SEVERAL incidents in the past.
They suppress any form of Negative Publicity that should arise on their forums by deleting the thread or locking from further replies from being recorded. They do everything they can to avoid addressing any controversial or difficult incidents. They either completely ignore such things or delete any forum post in regards to them.
The game security is also questionable. There have been several incidents in the past where a Mass Hacking occurred. OGPlanet response time was in the 3 ~ 5 months range just for those incident. Their response time is extremely slow and even tasks that should take 1 day will take them 3 weeks to a month.
If you offend any of the Game Masters you will be restricted with an IP Ban from accessing their forums.
And there have been several rumors in the past in regards to some Game Masters who would Boost the stats of their personal friends that would play the game. This has been confirmed through the following method. Persona A is the GM's friend and Person B is a regular but very well geared player. The 2 would be of equal caliber in gear and level. Nothing really sets them apart but the friend of the GM, Person A would deal 2 times more damage in a pvp duel. If the 2 have same level same gear they should be dealing the same damage to each other. Yet how does Person A deal twice as much? Boosted stats.
I will finish with this. The game offered by OGPlanet is great but because of the staffing the playing conditions become unbearable. In the time frame of 6 months. I personally know of 180 people that have quit the game due to their unjust management.
Be weary when setting your foot on OGPlanet's turf because you will soon find out the unjust system they employ on the players that they do not favor. Thank you for reading my review.
