Not Trust Worthy
Jitendera Kandola Kumar is the president of Omni-Funds. He was non responsive to addressing any of my specific complaints about the unprofessional service I received through Omni Fund loan officers. Omni Fund suggested for me to pay down my points from 2.99 % APR to 2.75% on a 15 year refinance for an additional $5,000 dollars. This was terrible advise when I did not need lender rates (always ask for borrower rates and come to the table with the cost to process the lone if you financially can). When I stated I wanted to pay for all my loan expenses and NOT roll those costs over into the loan my APR dropped to 2.75% without paying the 5 grand to make it happen. Although with all the numbers moved around I did end up paying more for my loan. I found the loan officer to not be truthful on other additional occasions. One in which I told him I wanted to use my credit card for this transaction because I wanted the reward points. I was told "That would not be a problem" Later while more entrenched in the process they said " I miss understood you, and that can not be done". Just like Hollywood stereotype these people in finance think they are big ballers. It is all about them. They tell you "Yes" to what ever you want and then wait a day or week to tell you a different story that erases what they told you and hedges you to what they want from you. When your words do not match your actions you are a liar Omni Fund. It took two months to refinance the loan. This ended up costing me more money because Omni Fund did not get the IRS verification forms that needed to have in place to close the loan on time. This caused extension for the rate to remained locked and other costs.Thank you Omni Fund! Also I asked for loan estimate paper work to be sent to me. Omni kept changing the amount for the loan refinance. I was even sent two different loan estimate forms via email on the same day with different numbers. At closing the numbers were still not matching any of the papers I had gotten. I was told the loan origination fee would be $1,990. plus escrow fees. At the end I paid $4,697.00 in "Originator compensation" and $945.00 escrow fees" . Everything Omni does is on line. Be prepared for them to save money on stamps, paper, ink while you will have to print out on your time and dime all paper work because that is what works best for them....and remember it is ALL about them. These guys are terrible. They think they are big ballers because of the large sums of money they are working with when in actuality it is NOT their money. They are only the custodians of other people's money, and as such should be humble and focused on being honest and provide professional. customer service....Omni Fund does not deliver honest or professional customer service. Customers you also can file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Bureau on the web if you have had poor unprofessional experiences with any lender.
