I ordered two HP touchpads on Aug 21, Sunday. It went through smoothly. It was not until late Wednesday that I was notified that it was cancelled. There was not even an apology. The reason that was on their website is "too many people tried to buy online and their system crashed".....I am a computer engineer at Silicon valley. And can you please explain HOW difficult it is to show "NOT IN STOCK" in an website automatically?
I herad rumors that they were going to be cancelled. On Monday, an Onsale facebook rep told us that all sales on Amazon were legit and will be delivered. The Tuesday their winds changed. I tried calling to confirm but could not get through..I could bought from other websites still available at that time, but not being able to cancel my existing order prevented me to get new ones.
The two touchpads were birthday gifts for my sister and my brother-in-law which happens to be on Labor day.
