I bought a 32" Viewsonic LCD HDTV from Onsale.com last September. It's now April and the TV is dead. I called the manufacturer to check on the warranty and they said the TV I have is refurbished. What I purchased was advertised as a new TV. What I got was a defected, refurbished TV that lasted just long enough to be out of Onsale.com's warranty period. Viewsonic won't carry it under their warranty because it is not new, but refurbished. $500 wasted on my behalf because of Onsale.com. DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ONSALE.COM or anything of the other names this company goes under (Mac Mall, ect.). THEY RESELL JUNK UNDER THE LABEL OF NEW. THIS IS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY AND IT'S ILLEGAL. Their business practices are in the gutter. They should be put out of business. I'm considering about reporting this to the Attorney General. I heard that they were already reported in California.
My rating says one star because that was my only option. They should have zero stars.
