I previously had an options trading account with Options Investments, Inc. My account was small but I thought, “Why spend thousands of dollars on education when I can get it for free from someone else.” After searching through other brokerage houses and looking for free information, I came across Opvest. The broker I had was very helpful but did advise me that the amount I wanted to use was too small. Although after having a few conversations with him I insisted on going through with the minimum and opening the account. I wanted to experience the first hand trading and education since it was risk capital. With my account I was only able to place a few trades until I was done. I did learn a lot from Opvest, not only from the educators but from the markets as well. The traders really helped me by keeping a close eye on my small account and letting me know about every trade, including the risk! After paper trading a few times and continuing my education from Opvest, I now wish I would have opened with the amount the broker had suggested in the first place. A few tips for those who are looking to trade using this company: 1. Make sure you fund your account above the minimum. 2. Make sure its risk capital. 3. Use your relations manager as much as possible. 4. They also have managed accounts if your to scared to trade on your own.
