Save yourself the hassle - find a different shutter supplier
|
The initial sales meeting was fine. Rebecca was helpful in helping me pick out the right shutters. Pricing is fair. However the actual delivery of the shutters has been a nightmare. I placed the initial order in August 2011. The first time they delivered in October, one of the shutters was the wrong size. I was told that they keyed-in the size incorrectly in their system. Rebecca told us she would call us back right away with the date to expect our replacement shutter, which would be expedited. Rebecca never called. 6 weeks later, I called to check status and the guy who always answers the phone seemed very uninterested in my unhappiness about their service. He assured me that our shutter had been put on expedite but that their process really does take 8 weeks. In December, we had the second attempt to install the shutter. The shutter was an exact copy of the first wrong-sized shutter. I can't figure out how they made the same shutter twice. Clearly there is a quality issue at this company. At the end of January, I called again and was told that my third shutter would be ready within a week. 10 days later, I called again to find out there was a QA issue with the shutter, so it is being painted again. Finally, at the end of February, my shutter was installed. I never received any calls from anyone at this company. Every communication has been initiated by me. I'm so done with this company. I would never order from them again. It's not so much the mistakes, but their CLEAR lack of caring, lack of follow up, lack of overall customer service. I was prepared to shutter my entire home and this was a test to see how I liked these shutters, but I would rather pay more at another company who will deliver quality AND customer service. I have YET to receive any call from this company or its owners to apologize or to express their concern for my inconvenience. Their response to every one of my phone calls tell me that this is their standard process - they are not surprised by the mistakes. Everything they say or do says “we don’t care about your satisfaction”. Stay away from this company.
