My first and last experience with OriginPC
I just canceled my order with OriginPC for EVO15-S. After 24 days of submitting the order, They are telling me they can give me an update next week about the shipping date when they start receiving inventory ... WTH !!! Almost a month later and they still don't have inventory !!!! Not impressive at all .... especially when they have been telling me so far that "my order is on track for shipping on June 1st" and the unit is "with their assembly team", and all of sudden today after phone calls last week and this morning, finally someone got back to me with an email that we will let you know next week, if we have received inventory and what will be the shipping date ! for a $3000+ laptop, they should treat their customers much better... Not a great impression at all !!!! I think when CORSAIR r/Corsair bought OriginPC few years ago, OriginPC fell into the same crappy situation like where they owner were when they worked in Alienware, and Alienware got bought by Dell ... Bigger corporation stuff ... Thanks a lot r/OriginPC for wasting my time !!!! The first few rules for customer service is "Be honest" and "Don't surprise your customer with bad news" ... and it seems they are very professional on NOT following these two concepts ... So much for all testimonials in your website (Wondering if I submit mine, they will publish it !?) .... If they have told me from the beginning it is going to take 6 weeks or 8 weeks or 12 weeks for delivery, I would have been OK, but the dis-honesty on treating the customer is what I can not live with ... prefer to spend my money with a company who is honest right at the beginning with me, and stand behind their words ...

Unfortunately, issues with suppliers have been challenging with the disruptions caused by the pandemic and we apologize for any inconvenience. We are sorry to see that he has taken his business elsewhere and hope he will give us another opportunity in the future.
