I was very disappointed with the service, information and way to conduct bussines of this company. I don't recommend to any body to perform bussines with Pacarex. This is my experience and I hope that this don't keep happening to the public which I doubt it.
This company provide misleading information, dishonest advertisment and a very poor customer service.
This is my history; I sent 2 big boxes with merchandise, like clothes, shoes, pictures, and personal stuff from Miami to Colombia through them. Unfortunately to me, they did split the boxes in 5 medium boxes, allowing them to paid less in transportation and duties in Colombia. I figured this out when I had to have someone down there to take care this issue for me. I started to get worry after a 2 weeks, making more that 5 calls to them with no clear answer. Usually takes 5 to 7 bussines days to any box to be deliver. So, I did question them, with the bad news that no one was able to help me. I spoke with 4 different employees, all mean and with attitude. I had the felling that they were trained to act like that.
They really digged / wise cracked my pocket, the first time I paid $120.00 for the service, the second time $260.00 for them to paid duties to customs in Colombia which I didn't have to. After all this mess, the manager/supervisor call me and said to me that I was very mean to them so he wasn't able to help me any more. He told me that I had to deal with customs in Colombia on my own. He gave me a phone number and a name and hanged up on me. I called many times with no luck. Finally I paid $300 dollars more down there in Colombia to a Custom Agency, no customs or Aduanas of Colombia, the boxes were already out of the airport.
I was never able to get the tracking number, neither the copy of the invoice. They really scammed me. I felt so bad and desired to let it go. I am a very pacific guy.
I made a big mistake, I didn't research this company and I trusted a flyer that I got in the Colombian Consulate.
