Do not use this company, they are a scam. Search "West Point Relocation" if you want to see real reviews for them before their NEW NAME was established in February of 2010. West Point relocation has a BBB rating of "F" and they filed bankruptcy for over $1.8 Million dollars. In the reviews for WPR, people mention employees such as Maria, Tom and Eugene. They just opened a new company with a different name and the same terrible practices! Here is my story--- I contracted with them for a move from California to Honolulu. My cost was double their quote, no one in customer service would speak to me regarding the status of my move and when I tried to schedule delivery at my new home in Honolulu, it took days to contact their local manager because his phone was off. After unpacking my things, I found that several things were damaged and two large items were missing. I called to file and claim and see if they could locate my belongings, and I was left on hold for 25 minutes and hung up on on SEVERAL OCCASIONS. I was hung up on several times and filed a claim with the BBB. I finally spoke with "Tom Kay" (his real name is Tom Kinan, the 22 year old son on the original owner) and he threatened me to revoke my complaint. I have since filed a claim with the Insurance Company and it has been denied because Pacific Island Logistics did not provide me with ANY paperwork when they finally delivered my items. Several people on this site and yelp have contacted me with similar stories.. some had their belongs held by the company and refused to return unless they paid double and triple their move quote.
