I submitted an idea to Patent Assistance Worldwide in July 2010 after searching for a company on the Internet that could help in launching an idea that my wife and I came up with while driving with my 3 year old. We had also met with a local patent attorney to discuss the process of patent protection and getting an idea to market. This process was very new to us and there are a lot of companies out there, but after requesting information and looking into Patent Assistance we submitted the idea to them.
We found our representative to be very knowledgeable about the industry and the options available to us. There are a lot of companies and information on the Internet that is really confusing and conflicting but he explained it to us very well and we were able to cut through the clutter. Soon they sent us a proposal explaining our first step and after comparing the pricing to that of the patent attorney and the fact that they also helped us with the research and development, patent the idea, as well as referred us to a company that would meet with manufacturers for us we decided to go with them. The attorney would only patent the product for us and then we would have to find someone else to do the rest.
We are very happy with the results of working with Patent Assistance Worldwide. They are professional and courteous and follow through on the contracts with precision. We are now patent pending and meeting with manufacturers and very excited and pleased with how it's going!
