Took my pants and shirt for dry cleaning and press last Friday and Jennifer Straight promised them done by that evening (I was leaving town that night). I called several times after they were supposed to be completed and they kept telling me to call back because it wasn't completed yet. Next thing I know, they stop answering their phone and they close!
I had to reschedule my travel itinerary and hotel accommodations for the next day instead.
I go to the cleaners the next morning to pick up my clothes and soon learned why they didn't call me back the night before and why they kept giving me excuses...my pants were full of spots!!!! Keep in mind, this is a Saturday and they close soon and not open till Monday!
I end-up leaving with just my shirt with the promise they will overnight my pants to my hotel in time for my speech the day after as soon as they clean the spots on my pants.
Time comes for them to mail my pants. Jennifer Straight never works before noon, the employee told me, so I leave her a message (one of three).
She never returned any of my calls and needless to say, never sent my pants as promised.
Today, I go to pick-up my pants, they are still dirty from whatever process they used and Jennifer Straight had the nerve to ask me to pay full price for everything!
After wasting more time with Jennifer Straight, she finally agreed to half off. Apparently she needs the money more than I do, I felt bad and gave it to her.
DO NOT EVER CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES AT MONARCH CLEANERS OR PLATINUM CLEANERS (JENNIFER STRAIGHT OWNS ALL THREE)
