You will find that Plott Nursing Home more than likely will never respond to a complaint inquiry. My review of the facility comes personally due to a loved one living there. This facility is actually the best of the worst for the Inland Valley area for the care of patients. For your info, this facility hasn't past an audit by the Ca Dept of Public Health on the first try for the past 11 years. They think more of Profits rather than the care and well being of their patients. This is management.
As for the staff: I find that they have many dedicated personnel. They could do a better job if they were fully staffed. Generally this facility runs with less than sufficient staff. Any complaints fall on deaf ears with the Ca. Dept of Public Health. Main reason, although the Agency (DPH)in charge to insure the care and well being of all patients residing in Nursing Homes knows that some of the rules are out dated. They refuse to do anything about it. Other organizations have filed lawsuits against the DPH trying to make necessary changes without luck.
