DirecTV gives Primecast the BOOT !

FINALLY !!!!! In an effort to protect their good name and brand, this week DirecTV gave Primecast the heave-ho and severed their association with Primecast on a nationwide scale. Primecast is a horrific service provider of Internet, telephone and formerly DirecTV Service. Hopefully, more apartment and residential communities will see this is a step in the right direction and get rid of Primecast for Internet and Telephone as well.
I also heard Primecast' Call Center in Florida is shutting down. Is this an indicator of something more serious?
Is Primecast getting ready to fold / shut-down? And, if they are, what happens to those of us living where there is no current alternative? I can say their demise can't happen fast enough for me.
