I don't see how their BBB rating is an A+ when the reviews I find both on TrustLink and other sites are so terrible. I purchased the $19.95 introductory package via Proactiv's website. I like the product-- it clears my skin, leaves it feeling soft and clean. I follow the three steps and use the moisturizer and oil-control stuff. Awesome. I've only used it for about a month, so I cannot vouch for it's effectiveness over time. I am going to meet up with a dermatologist and see what other options are out there for me. Hopefully non-skeezy options. My biggest complaint: I am a careful shopper, and I saw nothing on their website indicating that they were going to send me a full-size order unsolicited. I saw the charge on my card a week before the product arrived. Advised them I didn't want it and was told to return the box with return receipt. When the second box arrived, curiosity overtook me. I thought you know I like the product, I'll just keep this and be done with the company. But the invoice that came it said they'd charged me the first of three installments. I called this time and was told the return process would take 4-6 weeks, but the next installment was set up to be charged to my card in 2-3 weeks. I was so disappointed that this company was not forthright about their setup. The customer service representatives gave me options, and they did not get defensive or nasty with me. The last representative I spoke with advised me that she has removed my credit card # from their records so I would receive a bill instead of a charge. We will see. Meanwhile I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and lodging a complaint via the BBB. If this goes to my credit report I will be furious.
