RnB Construction is owned by Bruno Acalinas who has done two jobs for me before this current one - demolishing my old kitchen to replace it with a new one.
The first was a simple rework of an existing room which found original 1937 cloth covered wire in the walls. That needed to be replaced. I wanted a tambor door on the garage to replace an unusable door. Instead of spending the money on that he let me know that replacing the main beam would make the original door usable again. The second job was a complete remodel of a bathroom, which came out beautifully.
All the horror stories you hear about contractors... don't happen with this one. There are always surprises in any remodeling, he makes sure they are dealt with properly. There is no communication problem, he always verifies any questions before proceeding with work. If there is a delay due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, he has always let me know what's going on and why.
He does use specialists for tile, plumbing and floor refinishing - none are ever left alone inside the house. His carpentry assistants are people he has worked with before and knows to be honest, if he does hire someone he hasn't used before he never leaves them unsupervised at a site.
I heartily recommend RnB Construction, both the contractor and all the people he has do work for him have been top notch.
