I manage my sister's rental property. I called the owner to get an estimate on a plumbing job & he was very short and hesitated to give me an estimate. He said the property owner had to call him directly. I don't see why that's necessary if all I was asking for was an estimate. I told him the property owner was with me. Had he not hung up on me before I finished speaking, I would have explained to him that I could hand the phone to the property owner. I called 2 other companies just to get an estimate & I did not have this issue.
