Horrible shipping/Worse customer service
I ordered a pair of heels from shoedazzle earlier this week and it has been a nightmare ever since. I'm a single parent of a 7 month old and don't get to do too many things for me so I was really excited. The next day when I was reading my conformation email I noticed my apartment # was incorrect. I have a letter on the end of my apt number and somehow it had gotten left off when I was ordering my shoes. I promptly called shoedazzle who said that even thought the order is still processing and hasn't left their warehouse yet that they can't correct my apartment number and to call FedEx to see if they can correct it or have it held at an office. I call FedEx and they tell me there is nothing they can do. My package is being sent my SmartPost, which is where FedEx picks up the package but USPS delivers it to me. So basically FedEx is a middle man. They can't hold it at a store or change a USPS label. FedEx suggested I call shoedazzle back to see if they can just have it returned before its delivered and reshipped. Well I called them, and after waiting 10 min to speak to someone, the customer service rep was very rude. I explained the situation, and your rep suggested I go to the person's apartment that is on the address to see if they got my package once it has arrived. I explained that is not going to happen and is not good advice. I have no idea who lives in that apartment, and I'm not going to walk up to a strangers door and ask them if they got my heels by accident. Were not next door neighbors, its a huge apartment complex. She then told me that they can't do anything and next time I should check the address better before I submit my order. Well thank you for stating the obvious, but that right there is horrid customer service and pissed me off. I told her that she should not say that to someone, I'm already upset I can't fix my address for something I paid for and now its probably going to the wrong address and there is nothing anyone can do. I said one curse word and asked to speak to a mgr. The rep warned me about my language which I promptly apologized for. I don't like to curse at people and with me already being upset that little comment didn't help my mood. After I said sorry I requested to speak to a mgr again, the rep placed me on hold then HUNG UP! I wasn't hold for two seconds before the call disconnected. I tried to call back but after waiting 5 min and still not speaking to someone I hung up. You have horrible customer service. The first lady I spoke to, even though she sounded completely unprofessional and couldn't change the address at least she tried to help by making a suggestion. The second girl was just a nightmare. She was very unwilling to help me and she was very rude. The rep could tell I was upset but did nothing to try and help. I'm never going to use this service again. If I have to pay for upgrading shipping to make changes on my acct then this is not easy shipping as you stated and that is a huge disappointment.
