I WAS FIRED FROM THE STATE OF GEORGIA IN SEPTEMBER 2017. I spoke to 2 lawyers who stated to me that I WILL NOT WIN THE STATE. As such I hired Spencer Cohen as my representative because from our initial conversation he demonstrated knowledge and confident that I will win against the State.
Mr. Cohen was GOD sent!!! There are only a few of his kind in this world!! He is very articulate, well educated in the arena of workplace issues and the unemployment process. HIS ABILITY TO WIN IS UNPARALLELED AND IT IS BECAUSE OF HIS EXCELLENCE AND KNOWLEDGE in this area that I won my case.
The hearing officer violated my due process rights and the Board of Review issued a ruling for a new hearing. Mr. Cohen won on Appeal and the final hearing. He was dedicated, reliable and eternally upbeat in his mission to communicate the wrongdoing of the employer. The employer who constantly changed their reasoning for firing me gave up after feeling defeated by my representative that was fierce like a pit bull with his articulation of the matter and educated like a scholar. And oh my!! his closing argument was to die for as the Employer was speechless. The ruling came in that the Employer failed to carry the burden of proof to show just cause discharge. Feb. 2018 my unemployment money was released into my account!!!!!!! Thank you Mr. COHEN SPENCER!!! you give the weak hope when were backed in a corner by the Employer !!
