This 'company' has scammed my 75 year old father by telling him they can modify his Wells Fargo mortgage. They told him if he paid $3500 they could modify his loan but he had to stop paying his mortgage. He stopped paying and SLG has done NOTHING for him. No one from SLG has called Wells Fargo on behalf of my father and it has been one year. He paid them money for this service which is illegal and now his home is being foreclosed upon. He is $40,000 behind in payments after not paying for a year and is about to lose the home he's lived in for 30 years.
DO NOT BELIEVE STATE LAW GROUP WILL HELP YOU. They are scammers and liars. The attorney the said is working on my father's case is not a real attorney. The attorney number is for a man in Washington with a different name and they name of the attorney is someone who has a DUI defense firm in Virginia. They are liars and are out to steal your money. Please, please, please do not get involved with them.
If this review will at all influence anyone to stay away from him then I will be happy. It is too late for my father and I wish I had done more when he told me about them. I had a fishy feeling from the beginning and I was right.
