Fraudulent company - my Order#: 11047581
This company goes by several names: Batteryshopcanada.ca Bilatek.ca Bilatek.com Sunvalleytek.com Hootoo.com I received a defective Acer laptop battery. It did not charge at all. I filled out an on-line RMA request (required) and sent photos of the item also as required. I did not hear from them for 4 days (their website says they will respond with 48 hours). I also called and left a phone message. I emailed them on the 4th day that I opened a "Customer Statement of Disputed Item" with MBNA Mastercard (I paid by M/C). They emailed me back with 3 hours of that last email saying that my emails went into their Spam (a total joke.) They basically played ignorant despite 3 emails with photos and a phone call. I finally received an RMA# after a month. They said they double-checked the battery before shipping (malarkey). However, after reading all these reviews, I doubt I will receive anything (replacement/refund, return shipping cost). I am expecting MBNA to do a charge back. Hit them where it hurts. Forget the BBB. Mastercard should refuse to authorize them. You have been warned. Stay Away. Tim Lee, Markham, ON, Canada
