Completely Misled
I recently contacted Lighthouse Consulting to delay my trustee sale. I'm receiving treatment for cancer, and some days can't lift my head off the pillow. I expressed how urgent this was, I just need time to finish the treatments and become well enough to re evaluate everything. The advisor I spoke to could not have been any more confident and assuring, telling me what a great relationship he has with the trustee. I was counting on this delay and felt I was in good hands. There was virtually no contact from their end a couple of days before and on the sale date. I contacted them after the sale time and was told the advisor was "waiting to hear from the trustee". I asked that he call them rather than wait, something I feel should have been automatically done. I received a devastating call an hour later and was told "It doesn't look good". The house was sold, and I was given a referral to a much more expensive option, a law firm that could attempt to reverse the sale. I was completely misled would NOT recommend this company to anyone. I'm stunned and now dealing with daily repeated knocks on my door.

We understand this clients concerns and it’s important to mention that we discussed this product has a favorable result but it’s not 100%. We encouraged the homeowner to utilize every other option available before using us because it is not 100% effective. Also, we’d like to be clear that client was never asked to pay for any services until we performed our duties. Since the services were not rendered the company was never in possession of funds. We were just as devastated as the client for we provided time, effort and energy and at the end of the day we were unable to assist the client. After the devastating information was delivered we felt it was in the client’s best interest to understand that there were still other options available. The services we referred the client to were not even our products so we stood to make no financial gain from his loss. We referred the customer to the company directly. At this point, there is a reversal pending at no charge until the work can prove to be completed. We wish to provide this client with our best efforts and resources for as long as we can to reach a favorable result. We have not collected a penny from the client.
