Deactivation - using unauthorized third party software
My account was deactivated for an unjustified reason. I lost $20 of Amazon gift cards and several hundred sb in my account. I had been a member since November 2011 and was deactivated mid January 2013. The compliance department did say I could open a new account with a different email, but would not reactivate my original account. I was stunned to be deactivated since I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong but had some concerns because every gift card redemption since November 2012 has gone "Under Review." Each time I contacted support about being "Under Review", I was told my account was flagged for sbtv irregularities. After deactivation the email they sent gave the reason as "unauthorized third party software" usage. When I wrote to explain this wasn't possible - I access tv from the toolbar or drop down menu, and I play it during HughesNet free time so it doesn't use up all our home internet mb, I was told I could open a new account but would not be reactivated. Horrified that they did this and that I used to recommend them.
