I realized that my basement was really big, but only a third of it was used. And that was for some old stuff which we don’t need on regular basis.
And because the part of the basement was wider that the ground floor plan, I wanted to use that to illuminate it with natural light. And of course, to renovate entire basement.
I hired TLC, and told them that this is not going to be an easy task. They were very interested in working on my basement because they don’t get this kind of strange desires every day.
It was really a big undertaking. They had some trouble in the basement with those nasty walls, but with precise measurement of the sizes and spaces needed for the installation of the glass panels was another story, delicate but easier one.
Now I have more area of my house that I can use, and when you are down there, you are just struck with the natural light and stars in the sky in the evening for example... Simply magic!!
