Worst experience with a service vendor. We had a coupon from a local mailer. Right out of the gate the tech pulled bait and switch, our coupon isn't good for what we need. High pressure and rude. We insisted that we wanted to use the coupon which stated 2 rooms and a hallway for $39.95 professionally cleaned. He insisted that this was for repeat customers as a maintenance type cleaning (although no where on the coupon did it mention this). He told that the service would be $200. Would not address the coupon value. We eventually hired him to do our three rooms and stairs for $100, which seemed like a fair price at the time. We were not aware of the prevalence of carpet cleaning scams until we had this experience and subsequently Googled "Carpet Cleaning Scams" and found thousands of results. They also claimed that the carpets would be dry in 4 hours and it was more like 12. In addition, they blew out one of my electrical outlets. Overall were very rude, high pressure, bait and switch artists and I will never hire them again. I will go with a national, reputable firm and I will be ready to send them away if they pull bait and swiitch tactics. Be careful with all carpet cleaning companies.
