TRS has scammed us for over $7000 - FOR MORE IRS PROBLEMS
We started with TRS over 18 months ago - by first paying them over $7000 in monthly installments, before they could start anything on our tax case. After they were paid, they filed (4) past years' IRS returns, BUT DIDN'T APPLY FOR IRS TRANSCRIPTS (AS WAS
THE FIRST CLAUSE OF THEIR RETAINER AGREEMENT). They allowed a tax lien to be filed against us, even after we were compliant with everything that they had asked for. When the lien was filed, our TRS representative was out on vacation and no other staff would
take our call to help answer our concerns over this huge problem. When I continued to press for their consumer complaint executive, or to contact the President of TRS, they notified us that they were terminating their agreement. But they issued no document
to dissolve their retainer agreement. Then they had a local California attorney send us a letter telling us to CEASE ALL COMMUNICATIONS WITH THEM! Then this legal "shark" won't even have the professionalism to return my letters and emails about some sort of
offer to settle our case. HERE'S THE REAL FRAUD BEEF WITH TRS: Their failure to acquire our IRS transcript and getting a lien filed on us, made me go in person to the IRS in search of answers. The IRS was helpful to give us our transcript - PLUS information
in their communications files showing that TRS had contacted them about a HUGE lump sum payment to be paid to the IRS. Which was news to us, since TRS had NEVER communicated with us about any IRS payment - especially since we didn't have the $16,000 that TRS
said we would pay the IRS! This, my friends, is truly FRAUD! As a retained legal representative in a tax case, they CANNOT make offers without client consultation and notification - but TRS did that to us! They failed completely to reply to our BBB complaints
- and their "attorney" will not communicate with us. We are now dealing with the IRS directly - but no guarantee of how it will end up. But easily, the $7000 that we paid TRS would probably go a long way, if not completely, to have possibly been accepted to
completely satisfy our IRS account. This company is absolutely the most distrustful - and in our case, FRAUDS, about dealing with a tax matter. They were in violation of their retainer agreement, they fraudulently represented false actions to the IRS about
our case, and then dropped our case in a manner that certainly can't be legal, with no signed release of their Power of Attorney representation. FRAUD and ILLEGALITY. If not Michael Rozbrch, certainly some of the representatives in our case should be held
legally liable for criminal acts - PERIOD! It's criminal activity - white collar type. Zero - or MINUS STARS - would be our performance rating.

Business's response - by DEBBIE E.on 8/16/2013
TAXPAYERS FIRED BY TRS BLAME TRS FOR THEIR FAILURES Tax Resolution Services (“TRS”) is the Nation's leading tax negotiation and mediation firm dealing with the Internal Revenue Service and State taxing authorities. TRS works in conjunction with its clients in a team approach to solving IRS problems. TRS personnel are not magicians, but work in partnership with their clients. The client is required to provide TRS with the tools and ammunition to deal with the Internal Revenue Service. If the client fails to provide the tools and ammunition, then, like any professional hired to be a warrior for its clients, TRS's ability to perform for its client is truly hampered and many times TRS is limited in what it can accomplish without a client's assistance. These Taxpayers were terminated by TRS for their failure to provide TRS with the information necessary for TRS to properly and vigorously represent them. Of course, the Taxpayers take no responsibility for their situation including their failure to pay their taxes. TRS was retained in August 2011. The Taxpayers had twelve (12) years of unfiled tax returns and had not been making estimated tax payments as required by law. TRS worked diligently with the Taxpayers, including getting required Transcripts (contrary to the assertions of the Taxpayers), to help them get in compliance with IRS guidelines which is a prerequisite for any tax debt resolution. It took the Taxpayers approximately nine (9) months to give TRS the information necessary for tax returns to be prepared. Upon receipt of the information, TRS prepared the Taxpayers' returns within ten (10) days. However, the Taxpayers insisted on preparing their own 2011 return which took them another six (6) months. TRS personnel regularly communicated with the Taxpayers throughout their case. Mr. Taxpayers insisted on contacting the IRS on their own and undermined the actions of TRS on their behalf. The Taxpayers were presented with various options for resolution but failed to make any decision. In the approximately sixteen (16) months it took the Taxpayers to get their financial information together, the IRS filed a tax lien. Efforts were made to release the federal tax lien, but these efforts required documents from the Taxpayers which were never forthcoming. After numerous requests for documents and financial information necessary for TRS to help the Taxpayers, TRS was forced to terminate their representation of the Taxpayers. Instead of accepting responsibility for their actions or lack of actions, the Taxpayers chose to attack TRS and anyone associated with TRS, despite speaking on the telephone to IRS personnel, Mr. Taxpayer then claimed he could not talk on the phone and refused the accommodations offered by TRS's counsel, including using a speaker phone and a computer to respond (to Counsel). Thereafter the Taxpayers went silent (again) and are now once gain in attack mode. TRS's counsel welcomes the opportunity to re-visit the TRS situation with the Taxpayers and reach a fair and equitable solution.
