I have a non-medical home care agency in PA and was contacted by Elder Services Network in Feb of this year. The representative I spoke with, Christine Nerney, explained that their company supplies qualified leads to home care agencies. She further explained that this meant that an exclusive appointment was set up between the agency and the person seeking services. I was hesitant because I had a problem with another referral agency that promised “qualified leads” but just sent me a telephone number for a woman that could not afford my services.

Christine assured me that their agency was different and called frequently to try to get me to sign up. She also had her supervisor Lisa and the boss, Tom call me. Christine told me that she had clients waiting for assessments in Perkiomenville and Telford which are in my service area. I asked for references and was told that the company was honest and delivered as promised.

I signed-up as a client in late February and have yet to receive an assessment. One woman sent a list of leads she was working on for me. Unfortunately, they were not in my service area. I explained that my service area covered partial counties and was told that their system does not differentiate. I asked why I was not told this when I signed-up and was told that Christine should have told me. Unfortunately, Christine was no longer with the company. I faxed a list of zip codes in my service area on 3/17/10. Continued calling, and still nothing. On 4/15/2010, I was told by Lisa, who is now supposedly handling my account, that she has called me several times because I never sent the zip codes. She reported that she just left a message yesterday with one of the girls in my office. I explained that I am the girl that answers the phones 99% of the time and never got this message and that the fax went through. That evening, I again faxed the zip codes and was assured the next day that Lisa did receive the zip codes. As of this time, they do not have any clients in my area. I have asked numerous times to speak with Tom and have not received a return call.

Every time I call I get empty reassurances that they will find clients for me. I do not feel that this company has been honest and has not fulfilled their end of the contract.
