Elderly Parents Scammed By The Mortgage Law Group,LLP

My elderly parents have paid $2900.00 to The Mortgage Law Group, LLP for assistance with a loan modification. The process began in September 2011, 4 months ago, and NOTHING has been finalized or submitted to the mortgage holder. They have avoided contacts made by my parents for weeks and have blamed the ridiculously slow process on lack of cooperation by my parents.
This is unacceptable for a company claiming to assist homeowners with avoiding foreclosure. They simply wanted their money and could not care less about helping my parents save their home.

After filing complaints on different sites regarding my parents issue with The Mortgage Law Group my parents received a call from an attorney representing the company. I called him back and he offered a full refund to my parents. I was very pleased that they wanted to settle the issue and do the right thing. I did however, have to agree to remove all comments and update complaints once my parents were refunded their money. Not a problem, just happy I could help my parents.
