My experience was similar to Heidi S. In my case, I was helping a friend handle his paperwork. Having worked as a legal secretary for many years in Los Angeles, I should have simply gone online, downloaded the forms and processed the paperwork myself, but I was trying to save some time. So when Don showed me the sales letter, I thought it was a deal - $47.95 to save me time and for the filing fee once we returned the paperwork signed in front of a notary. Not only did I lose time, Don lost $47.95. The form he sent took less than five minutes to fill out, shove in an envelope, and mail off. I'm not sure you can say what he's doing is a scam because when I perused his letter again, I noted how he said he would "fully PREPARE the Homestead Declaration"; he never said he'd FILE it. Still, the owner is grossly misrepresenting what he offers and he targets FIRST TIME BUYERS. If you're reading this, do more, say more, Twitter everyone, spread the word. P.S. I tried to remove the single star rating but couldn't; this company doesn't deserve even one star rating. By the way, his address is a private box!
