I don't know if the prior two postings ae true or not. If they are true, then i would said i might be very unlunky.
TopStar Moving & Storage "so far" has charged me $1,200 for my moving from Rowland Heights, CA to Milwaukee, MI for a studio size of furniture. They picked up my furniture on 1/21/2011 and mentioned that they will be able to delivery my furniture within 21 business days. In addition, they said scheduling a delivery on the weekend is not a problem, as I told them that i will only be available on the weekend when they gave me quote.
However, as of today 3/6/2011, they have not delivered my shipment (Originally, they told me my furniture will be able to be delivered on 2/5/2011). The driver, John, keeps saying that they don't have time on the weekend. Last week, the driver, John, confirmed with me that he will be able to delivery my furniture this weekend (3/5 or 3/6), so I scheduled a flight back to Milwaukee from other state (Actually, I came back from other states at least three times because of their words, but I am just wasting my time and money) . When I called the driver on Thursday (3/3) and Friday (3/4), he just ignored my calls even i left him two voice mails. In addition, I also contacted the representative , Al. He tolde me TWICE that he contacted the driver and the driver call me later (thursday and friday), but it NEVER happened. On Saturday (3/5//2011), I called the representative, AL, again. He said he's going to help me check the shipment schedule. But when I called him back within an hour, no one answered the call.
I don't know how long do I still need to wait (it's about one month and half since they picked up my furniture) to receive my furniture. I don't even know if I will be able to receive my furniture from them. I am still sleeping on the floor as i don't have my bed and mattress. Hopefully, they didn't lose or break any of my furniture.
So please take my experience as your consieration when you want to do business with them.
