I used Trend Micro's PC-Cillin firewall suite for a year; they charged me $44.95 for the annual subscription. Obviously, no-one should pay that kind of price for a firewall suite when according to Consumer Report there are several better firewall for free. However my problem with this company is with their shady business practices and lack of responsiveness. Sometimes in early 2010 I decided to remove the PC - Cillin from my PC. In response to this removal Trend Micro sent me an Email requesting to know the reason and I replied that I found a better, cheaper product. When my subscription expired in August 2010 they emailed me a request for renewal. I DID NOT RENEW MY SUBSCRIPTION, YET THEY CONTINUED TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD AS IF I DID! I sent a "cease and disease letter" to the President of the company and the billing department, to which they never responded. When I called their corporate office and requested the name of the president and explained that I needed it for a letter, the receptionist refused to give it to me. IF YOU NEED INTERNET SECURITY SOFTWARE, I WOULD GO ELSEWHERE!!!!
