We special ordered an item to go with furniture we had already purchased at VFW. VFW offers delivery in 14 weeks or "your money will be refunded in full." After 14 weeks, there is no delivery, there is no date of delivery, and refund was refused.
Though we were satisfied with the in-stock purchase, our experience with the special order tells us that it would be unwise for us to do further business with this retailer.
We paid full price for the special order. Salesman have authority to make sale, but not refund. The boss/owner -- who has this authority -- has never been available for us either in person or for phone calls.
