As a professional in the Automotive Industry I deal with many, many companies in automotive supplies. On this particular case I dealt with Vic on buying a new top for my personal vehicle. His customer relations was outstanding and being stationed overseas and serving the US Government he insured I had a fair shipping and handling charge, which is rare. They sent the product to me via US Priority Mail and the product arrived undamaged and well packaged.
This company sets a extremely high bar to compete with. If all online auto supply companies added that personal touch like Vic's Upholstery Supply (personal communication, rapid response and charge only what actual shipping costs are), it would be much more enjoyable to shop online for these products.
