M3D421SR Customer Service
We purchased this TV as a replacement for our living room in February 2012. On May 6th "DEAD", no sound, no video. Called Vizio customer service to get case started to get this set repaired. After forwarding receipt for purchase, I was told, since less that 90 days old, it would not be repaired, but instead replaced. I was then called back and told that this model is unavailable but they would send a M3D420SR instead. After reviewing specs and pricing, I called back and stated that I would not accept this offer as the tv being offered was of a lesser quality/price than what we had purchased. Now they can not find a tv to replace it with. They keep telling me the only difference is in the refresh rate. According to their website specs, the screen is smaller and 1/2 the price. I have made 3 calls for updates. As of today, still nothing. When I asked the rep today about a repair, I was told they have no parts. I am not sure how a tv that is less than 3 months old can not have any spare parts. All I am wanting a tv that works and is equal to what I purchased. I have serious reservations regarding my decision to purchase a tv from this company. In the future I can not recommend this company or any of their products after seeing the reviews that have been posted. UPDATE Worked with Anna. She was the most helpful Vizio employee by far. She worked with me to get an acceptable replacement. Anna should teach support staff how to handle issues. Anna knows customer service, a pleasure to work with during this time. Thank you for your help with my issue.
