I used we clean america for the first time, and not only did they do a horrible job (dishes weren't done, piles of laundry all over the house, things still dusty and dirty), but the man that was cleaning (with two women) threatened me and would not leave my house unless I wrote him a $50 personal check.
I was really scared, and simply wrote the check - just so he would get out!
I tried calling the company and they didn't answer, and I immediately called my bank and cancelled his check, as well as the one for my cleaning.
The next day I called to inform them of the non-payment and of my (I believe) valid reason.
The lady on the phone kept telling me to stop yelling at her and stop being emotional, while I was speaking to her in a normal tone of voice.
They came to my house and inspected the place and deemed it perfect - which is far from the truth.
The representative kept making comments about how i "keep house" and was just completely rude - not understanding that I left the house the way it was for her to look at it.
Needless to say, they are still trying to get their money, and I am not willing to pay the company that sent someone to my house who threatened and bullied me into a huge "tip" and wouldn't leave my house even though I was in tears.
