WW Construction has been absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any company I’ve ever worked with. I write in hopes that others may be forewarned. My story is the same as many complaints listed. Better Business Bureau, are you listening? It started with a high pressure sales job to just get an “estimate,” which turned into needing an architect to do blueprints. Before these were done, my “estimate” was written on a contract form, which I was told “not to worry about.” Although I adamantly stated again and again that I was not interested in doing the job, the pressure continued until WW was asking for more money than the architect’s bill to complete that part of the job and even after being asked to stop the job in writing, was contacting us daily by phone, at our home, or by having people call us with threats to put a lien on our home. We had to hire a lawyer to make them stop contacting us. The architect was only paid $1500 for his work; WW pocketed $2900. They wanted an additional $3000 for engineering fees even before the engineer began his work or the completed blueprints were given to us. In the end, the completed blueprints were never given to us; we received an enlarged picture of the original sketch instead. There is not one bit of trust I could put into this company. They lied, inflated costs, did not keep good track of our information, do not treat their employees or subcontractors well, yell at you if you disagree, and show disregard for agreements. Has anyone noticed that WW is possibly making their own 5 star reviews and everyone else writes decidedly 1 star reviews?
