I was an eBay member for over 10 years. The first 7 years were great, but the last 3 have been terrible. The customer service has been shipped to the Philippines and the language barrier doesn't allow for a coherent conversation. EBay decided to restrict my account based on no evidence. They claimed I was selling a fake item, even though I wasn't. I have 10+ years of 100% positive feedback, paid them on time every single month, and not one complaint from a buyer. The main reason why I would never recommend EBay is the hypocrisy. They tell their members their concerned about the EBay community and to obey it's rules. However they told me that my account restriction would be lifted after 7 days, and not only did they not follow their word - they downgraded my account to a suspension. So in the best interest of the EBay community, EBay itself is harming its own members by not abiding by their own word. Based on other reviews from sellers, it's only a matter of time before this company falls. A competitor like Google will eventually (hopefully) take over the online marketplace. A large corporation like EBay should never conduct business like this. Now I'll do my part to tell others to stay away from EBay.
