The website is useless. They provide meal plans, a nutrition tracker, and a recipe database, but none of them are integrated with one another. For instance, if you are trying to track your weight for one day and 1) for breakfast eat a meal from your meal plan, 2) eat a meal out at a restaurant, and 3) cook a meal from the eDiets recipes, there is no way to know how many calories you ate that day unless you manually enter everything into the nutrition tracker. The technology has the capability to integrate the three databases to avoid this extra work for us, but eDiets simply doesn't provide it. In fact, Weight Watcher's website already provides this capability...
In ADDITION, when I called to cancel due to this issue (within days of signing up), I was told that there were no refunds for any reasons. To top it all off, they put in their fine print, but no where visible when you sign up, that you have to be a member for a minimum of 12 weeks or else there is a $25 termination fee! They could have put in the fine print that I had to be a member for years or pay a large sum termination fee. Based on their check out screens and the program description, I had no indication that a monthly subscription would tie me into a subscription any longer than a month. I signed up for a monthly membership and had no idea that there was a 4 month membership required until I called their customer service department. They only waived the fee after I told them that I was going to file a complaint with the BBB. This type of information should be disclosed up front instead of in the small terms and conditions box where you have to scroll down to read all of the text. Even if this is a legal practice, it is a completely deceptive practice.
