SCAM!

I WAS SCAMMED OUT OF MY MONEY, ACCUSED OF FRAUD AND LIED TO FOR ALMOST 10 MONTHS. IT IS ILLEGAL TO COLLECT AN ADVANCE FEE. THEY ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO COLLECT A FEE AFTER THE SERVICE IS COMPLETED. ALSO, THEY NEED TO BE REGISTED WITH OFR, WHICH THEY ARE NOT. IF THEY HAVE COLLECTED AN ADVANCE FEE OR RETAINER FROM YOU PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THE OFFICE OF FINANCIAL REGULATIONS. THE INFORMATION TO THE FLORIDA BAR IS ATTACHED AS WELL. THERE IS INFO TO FREE HUD COUNSOLERS TOO. DO NOT PAY FOR A LOAN MODIFICATION SERVICE. IT SHOULD BE FREE. DO NOT GET SCAMMED AND FORECLOSED ON LIKE ME AND MY FAMILY ARE NOW BECAUSE OF INDEPENDENCE LAW GROUP.

Effective January 2010, the Florida Legislature placed the primary
enforcement authority regarding loan modification businesses, INCLUDING THE PROHIBITIONS ON ADVANCE FEES. See Chapter 494, Section 494.00296, Florida Statutes. The
provisions of Chapter 494 and Section 501.1377, Florida Statutes, passed
in 2008, prohibit advance fees and other deceptive practices by loan
modification businesses. In addition, Chapter 494 requires that loan
modification businesses be licensed by OFR.
You may contact the OFR at:
