Olympic, Competition, and Self Defense Kodokan Judo School. Judo is a martial art that descended from Samurai warriors in Japan and is the most applicable martial art to today's modern life. Superior to other martial arts in many ways, Judo involves using one's opponents' energy and weight against himself through the use of throws, takedowns, pins, joint locks, and chokes. We are a non-profit organization and are not monetized like other for-profit facilities.
