This company is TERRIBLE! I was sucked in by their "Raving" customer ratings and I spent a lot of money on and spent a lot of time and energy installing a pet containment system that never worked. We followed the instructions exactly. Sometimes it would shock my dog when she wasn't even close and other times it would not shock her when she walked right over it. Then the collar receiver literally fell apart. I tried contacting the company by phone but only got voice mail. I left messages on three occasions and never got a call back. I emailed several times but only got a response once telling me to send the system back (at my cost) for them to examine. At this point I didn't trust them. I got the feeling I'd send it back and then never hear from them again. Don't believe the 5 star ratings posted here. I am sure they are falsified by the company just like all of those on their website!

I bought a Humane Contain electronic dog fence from Samsclub.com and could not be happier with the extremely high quality of the product and the wonderful level of personal support I received from the company in setting it up and learning how to use it. You can't go wrong with such a conscientious organization as High Tech Pet.

I always have positive experiences when dealing with High Tech Pets. They are honest and helpful. I ordered the electronic bark collar for my dog. It has worked like a charm. My barking Boxer shut up almost immediately. I had some questions about how to use it. I received a reply within minutes all the answers I needed. Because of this company I no longer have to fight with my neighbors over the barking dog and I sleep a lot better myself. It's good to know that there are honest companies with great products available online.

My experience with High Tech Pet Products is very positive. I bought a Power Pet Door about 10 years ago when it first came out. It worked very well but as it was the first of it's kind there were some glitches. When they came out with the new model I was willing to just purchase the product outright but, they allowed me to return the old model and upgrade for only $150.00. That is really a steal for what is a fabulous electronic pet door. It has many new features and has worked without fail. The tech staff at High Tech Pet Products is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. If you need a high tech door or other product for your pooch, I highly recommend this company. They have always done right by me.

I agree with the many 5-star reviews here. The company has been just great to us. They are easy to contact and always friendly and helpful. The employees seem to feel proud of their company and it shows in the way they respect their customers. We bought a Power Pet door. The item is amazing. The dogs love it and so do we. Any problems have been very minor such as needing instructions on how to replace the collar battery. We are loyal customers and highly recommend this company.

I bought a Humane Contain invisible fence from this company two years ago. It has worked wonderfully. We have two dogs. At one point one of the dogs chewed up the other one's collar. We called the company to order a new one. They said the chewed up one was under warranty and replaced it free of charge. I thought this was great because it really wasn't the company's fault. But, I was happy to get the free collar. They also replaced the battery which was above and beyond as far as I'm concerned. You can't go wrong buying from High Tech Pets. They are A++ in my book.

I am an elderly person and it seems like a lot of businesses try to take advantage. Not High Tech. I have ordered from them a few times and they are always helpful and willing to take whatever time is necessary to explain things to an old coot that can't hear as well as he used to. I was going to buy a shock collar and the girl told me that I could save money with the sonic kind which costs about have as much as the shock. She didn't have to do this but, she was honest and more concerned with the customer than a quick buck. I tell all my friends to buy their pet supplies here and the girl may not know it but, she has certainly made more money in the long run by being honest enough to save me a few dollars.

I have to say that I have dealt with many online companies and High Tech Pet is at the very top. Customer service is first rate and their products are the most imaginative pet items I've ever seen. I purchased an electronic pet door from High Tech about 4 years ago and it is still going strong. I had a collar fail after about 2 years and they replaced it for free even though the warranty has passed. I never have trouble getting through on the phone and the help is always intelligent and informative. I think I have made 5 or 6 purchases of one item or another since buying the pet door and they treat me like family. I highly recommend this company for its great products and wonderful service!

LET THE BUYER BEWARE" On 6/22/09 I received the BT 1 shock collar. Their claim to fame is that it will provide a very piercing beep prior to shocking. Well it did beep and my do immediately stopped barking, the collar immediately started shocking him and would not stop. This poor dog has so many issues as it is being from the Katrina Hurricane and to do this to him was just devastating for me. This was my last resort to cease his continual barking. With this happening I immediately called the company, or at least tried, was left on hold for 22 minutes and no one ever answered. Emailed and two days later someone got back to me stating that I would have to send it back, I informed them that I would not pay for any return shipping due to the lack of quality of this item. Customer service is very good at stone walling people. Claimed they emailed return postage, when I explained I never got it, all of a sudden my email doesn't work. They never sent it. I have since sent it back on July 14, which is almost a month after purchase they received it on the they received it on 7/20 today (7/24) they tell me it takes up to 10 days to get the refund. I just wish that I would have read all the complaints with the BBB prior to ordering this, I wouldn't be sitting here waiting for my refund. Think twice before ordering from this mickey mouse outfit. Can't expect anymore when all products are manufactured in CHINA!!!!!!!

I bought the Power Pet door from High Tech Pet Products. This is the best pet product I ever bought and I believe it is the most inventive pet product ever invented. This product has changed our lives. If you know what it is like to be a slave to your dog's biology then, like us, you will be amazed at the freedom this product gives you in addition to improving your home security and improving its heat loss factor. We love the company for inventing such a wonderful dog door!

My experience with Hi Tech Pet has been the best! I purchased the X-10 multi dog fence system and a Power Pet door. These products are amazing. The fence keeps our dog safely in the yard while still giving him the freedom to come in and out of the house as he pleases. Customer service has also been great. I have called the toll free number several times with technical questions. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and very professional. They also have the best refund and warranty policy I have seen online however, I have not had to take advantage of this and based upon the performance of the products so far I doubt that I will have to. If you need a high tech doohickey for your pet, this is definitely the place.

High Tech Pets gets my highest recommendation. I bought a Power Pet door from them about two years ago. After about 18 months my dog lost the collar. When we found it the next day, he had completely chewed it up and it was in pieces. I thought the company should replace it even though the warranty was up. When searching for the company online I came across a website that looked like the California Consumer Affairs office and there were all sorts of complaints about High Tech. I panicked immediately assuming that I was dealing with a dishonest company. I called them ready to hunt bear. I stated that anyone who spent $300.00 on a pet door should be able to get a new collar even after the one year warranty. Much to my surprise the lady, who was very nice and composed even though I had yelled at her before she even spoke, said that she agreed. She immediately sent me out a new transmitter collar. Now, get this. She also sent me 2 free batteries. I went back and looked at the consumer website and looking at it closely I noticed all sorts of ads and a Net-flicks pop up came up as well. Clearly, this was not a real consumer website. I also found an article on wikipedia saying that the website was being sued by several companies. I am so sorry I had the wrong idea about High Tech Pets. The door has worked wonderfully for two years and when my dog chewed up his collar they replaced it without question and even gave me a freebie. These guys (and gals) are a class act. I will order from them again when necessary and will recommend them to all my friends.

Based upon my experience, there is no better online company than High Tech Pet. We ordered the Power Pet door several years ago and have had no problem at all. When we had installation questions the company was responsive, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Last week I ordered a unit for my son (his dog actually). It arrived at his home in two days and has many great upgrades. High Tech Pet is a first class company offering first class products.
