I must admit, I initially went to Amazon before ultimately making a purchase at Air & Water, and I am glad I ended up at Air & Water. The home page at Air & Water is filled with choices and links to just about every cooling and heating product you would need for your home. The site is full of details, guides, and all the information you need to research the products before you buy . Everything on the website is laid out on the left. The sections are self explanatory and extremely helpful to navigate the site. I was in the market for a portable air conditioner that would cool my office which is approximately 250 square feet. I knew I needed something small and compact that didn’t take up too much space. I literally searched every retailer in Orange County. All the units in my price range were extremely expensive, so I gave up and looked online. That’s when I came across the NewAir AC-12000E. This unit was exactly what I was looking for. It was tiny, sleek, and had a remote control. When I placed my order for the NewAir Portable Air Conditioner the process was seamless. They even have an online chat function which I found to be extremely helpful. I had a few questions that I couldn’t find the answer to on their website. The representative I corresponded with through the chat proved to be knowledgeable. I received an email order confirmation initially after I placed my order as well as a email with tracking confirmation. I also received a thank you card a month after I received the unit, which seemed extremely courteous and polite.

My parents live in Oregon and during that super heat wave in the Pacific Northwest that happened a few weeks ago, places like Lowe's and Home Depot were running out of stock on ACs and fans on a daily basis. All my parents needed was a small air cooler for their tiny bedroom. I looked around online and found Air & Water's website. I called their phone number and asked a customer service representative for product recommendations. I was actually going to buy a unit for $150, but the Air-N-Water associate actually recommended a unit on sale for $99 and said it would be more than enough to cool the bedroom. It arrived on my parents' doorstep in just two days with regular shipping and the product works great. I'm very satisfied with this company and will do business with them in the future.

Our office pool purchased the New Air AI-100S Portable Ice Cube Maker in the spring of 2008. By January 2009, the fan on the unit stopped and it no longer made ice. Contact was made with the company and we were told to return the unit for a replacement. The manual indicates a one year warranty. They even paid the return postage. The new unit arrived within a week and now (Aug 2009) this unit has stopped making ice. The company was again contacted. They suggest that we take the unit to a local appliance repair shop.
Bottom line, if you order one of these ice makers, be prepared for it to last only 7 or 8 months. I see on the website that they are now selling warranties for their substandard products. I would not deal with this company again. We are stuck with this product which would probably cost more to repair than it's worth.

I purchased a Dimplex DGWH4031. It was advertised to heat a garage to 400 sq. ft. I have a garage that size.
I contacted the company and was assurred " if, it didn't work; that, I had a money back guarantee. " It didn't heat the garage.
I contacted the company by telephone. The saleswoman
recommended to me ' my garage maybe too large ' and nedded more units. I purchased two more units total three. She assured me that " if, they didn't work, that I have a money back guarantee." She added ,'the electrical installation instructions for all the units would be included.' They weren't. It didn't work.
I call the company to get a refund. I was transfered to the manager's voice mail. He didn't return my call. I tried again, but to no avail.
When, I tried to contact the company through their web site. It was changed. I called a third time. The salesman was assuring me that 'this never has happened in the company's history.' I should just call the manager ' to straighten everything out.' I left a voice mail. To date, no return call.
