My family took my brother to Cornerstone of Southern California two years ago trying to find help for him and his alcoholism. We thought it was just alcoholism, but the excellent doctor (Dr. Stone) who saw him there picked up on some underlying psychological issues that he was facing and that were feeding his drinking. He was referred to an affiliated psychologist who diagnosed him with Bipolar Disorder and Acute Depression. My brother stayed at Cornerstone for about 9 months and I am very pleased to say that he has been sober ever since and he credits his recovery to the great people at Cornerstone. Thank you to all of you and keep changing lives for the better!

I came into Cornerstone feeling mentally, emotionally, and physically broken from my addiction of opiates. After spending a couple weeks detoxing and becoming educated about my disease I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Through group processing, A.A. Meetings and one on one meetings with case mangers I slowly became more confident to get back into the real world. This is the second time I have attempted treatment and I feel Cornerstone was exceptionally better. The case managers and staff were very understanding about the patients needs and wants but at the same time made you earn back trust and freedom by excelling in your own recovery. Today I have 4 months clean and attend A.A. Meetings daily all which I have Cornerstone to thank. For anyone contemplating treatment centers I would definitely recommend Cornerstone because as of "today" its saved my life!

I have been blessed to be a part of Cornerstone's Extended Care program for almost thirty days. In that short amount of time the progression of my recovery amazes my family, and honestly myself. The group sessions, educational lectures that focused on all aspects of recovery, and the one on ones with staff, have given me such great desire to really live life and embrace life on life's terms. It has been heartfelt, emotional, challenging, and most of all the best decision I have made. I have met many wonderful people in this program and have gained new friendships that are based off of honesty and kindness rather than self seeking purposes. I have learned how to want to give before I take, and I learned that by living life on the terms that Cornerstone encourages, I am truly happy and content in all situations. Thank You all of Cornerstone's staff, for giving me real reasons to live.
