Refinance with Tri-Emerald
I worked with Sarah Allameh over a 3 month period to refinance my loan. The process was complicated by the circumstances of my existing loans and the death of my husband. Sarah was persistent and helpful during this entire time with rarely a day going by without contact. I always felt I was in good hands and was kept totally informed of everything going on in the process. The first loan application did not work out due to a requirement from the lender for a signature from my deceased husband in order to modify the terms of a home equity line of credit. We had to abandon this loan application and start over. Sarah worked tirelessly with me (in spite of losing her mother during the process) to find a loan that was an improvement over my existing loan and within parameters that were acceptable to me. When Sarah was not available due to her family circumstances, she made sure I had contacts within the company should I need them. Everyone I worked with was very timely in getting back to me - usually immediately.

TRI -EMERALD FINANCIAL GROUP
I had the opportunity to re-file about 4 times. Each time I would not do business with the financial group that did my paperwork. BUT Tri Emerald is by far one of the best re-fi groups. They are professional, know all the new regulations & my re-fi move thru the system with out any problems. I would highly recommend this financial group when you are doing any real estate programs.

Very Good Service
I recently refinance my home through Tri-Emerald and had a great experience with them. They were very friendly,knowledgeable and delivered what they promised. They kept me updated through every step of the process and delivered what they promised. They closed my loan very quickly and I am very happy with my new rate and I would use them again and recommend them to friends and neighbors who are looking to refinance their home.

annoying phone calls, but won't leave a message to return the call
After submitting an online request for a refinance quote, we have received over 8 calls on Friday and Monday. We were not at home and came to find these on the caller ID. This morning I have been home for 20 minutes and I have received 3 calls so far and all within 15 minutes of each other. All 3 callers were different people and I asked all 3 to speak to a supervisor and instead they hang up on me. I refuse to do business with these people. This is harrassment. I realize I contacted 1 online company and it was sent out to several companies all vying for our business. IF they had bothered to leave a message instead of calling and hanging up when we weren't available, I would have returned their phone call like we did with the other companies. WE are not using Tri Emerald ever and will tell all our friends and neighbors to beware as well.

We do not conduct business in this manner and we are obviously concerned. As you noted, Tri-Emerald Financial Group does not have control over how many competitors contact you after you submit your online request for a quote to refinance.

Refi made simple

I feel that using Tri-Emerald was the best decision that we made during our house-hunt. They took great care of us during the stages when we were looking for a house, and once we began the negotiation and closing process they walked us through every step and made sure that we were completely comfortable with everything that we were signing and committing ourselves to.

I had an excellent experience with Tri-Emerald. I particularly recommend Elizabeth Herrera as a mortgage banker. She was fast, thorough, sincere, and delightful to work with. She was either right there or got right back to me whenever I had any questions or issues. Anyone looking into a new mortgage should ask for her by name and see what she can do for you. The entire process took little more than 3 weeks.

We were just able to close on our first house and used Tri-Emerald to do so. Carrie Mandel did a great job for us. She was there every step of the way to help and really went above and beyond what was expected. Even with our difficult schedules, complicated financials, and inexperience with the process she was always available to help us. She was always available to answer all of our questions, worked very hard to get us the best rate available, and made the whole process very easy to understand. I have already recommended her to friends and family, and urge anyone interested in buying a home to call her.

Scott Christian handled my loan and did a great job. he stuck with me throughout the process, which was fairly tough due to my being self employed and underwriting being so stringent. I have only good things to say about Scott and TriEmerald.
When rates were down about a year ago Scott and I worked together to get my home refinanced but, again, due to my self employment we were unable to lock in a nice 4% before rates went back up. This time we were ready and Scott got the lock in and we were able to finalize the deal over the next 2-3 weeks. As of today the loan is funded and I am now the proud father or a bouncing new 4% loan;)

I worked with Tri-Emerald Financial Group, specifically with Dustin Sanders and would recommend the company and Dustin highly. Dustin managed the process, setting expectations and explaining things thoroughly. He stayed on top of deliverables (from me and the appraiser, realtor, etc.) to ensure that we closed on time. What could have been an incredibly stressful time was made much easier by Dustin and his company (who I know were working diligently in the background).

I have just completed the refinancing of my home mortgage with Tri-Emerald. I may say that it was quite an experience. With the new qualification rules implemented after housing bubble I had to provide gazillions of supporting documents in order to obtain the loan. In the middle of this process I was almost giving up. Thanks to the loan officer I was working with, Sarah Allameh, I finished the job and get my loan at 3.5% and savings about $640.00 a month. Sarah Allameh is the most pleasant person I have worked with. She was working really hard to help me with my process and never complain about it. I could contact her even on Saturday evening to get my questions answered. During the process it was additional obstacle - my wife was in Mexico City fixing her medical problems. So all the signing with her was performed thru e-mail and with the help of American Embassy in Mexico City. All this was arranged painlessly by Tri-Emerald. I would strongly recommend Sarah and Tri-Emerald to anybody. As a matter of fact, my boss hearing the entire story decided to do the refinancing of his property with the same person and the group.

I have apply for a refinance with Tri-Emerald in early August. The loan agent Scott Christian was handling my application. After revealing all documents he said all things looks good and proceeded to order the appraisal. After all is done our loan was rejected. All I want then is my appraisal report which I have already paid for. However, after dozens of phone call and e-mails, there is no response. I feel that he and the company is so unprofessional. They are just out their to take your money and they don't care anything about you. I just want to say: BUYERS BEWARE!!

I investigated your claim of not receiving the appraisal report which you had previously paid for and our findings are very different. The appraisal report was executed and delivered to you (with copy of invoice) on the same day of receipt – 08/10/2011. I have a copy of the electronic transmission for you if you would like. The company does not receive any profit for appraisal costs – the amount charged by the appraiser is the direct cost you paid. In fact, the appraisal management company is required by law to charge you directly without the intermediary of Tri-Emerald Financial Group. In your loan process Tri-Emerald Financial did order a 2nd appraisal for quality assurance purposes and this additional cost was not transferred to you. By law we do not have to supply you with a copy of the internal report because it is proprietary information which we paid for.
