UDPATE!!! I thought I was scammed, but Ray refunded my Money!!! - UPDATE!!
***UPDATE*** I checked the company website about a month ago and they have updated it to say that they did not mean to scam anyone, that they simply went out of business, even better - Ray is speaking with everyone individually and refunding their money. He refunded the full amount of my 1 year contract!! I am very pleased with the way he is handling this now. I am so glad that I was able to get my money back! If you want to get your money back, you should also go to the arkidus website and email them to set up and appointment to speak with Ray to get your refund.*****Original message: I signed up with Arkidus in March/April 2012 (was supposed to be signed up in March but they didn't process my payment till April). Initially I was very unsure and uneasy about going with this company due to several things, not registered with BBB and not in service very long according to the BBB. However the sales rep was able to reassure me of those things and somehow I ended up giving them my money. I filed a claim in April/May 2012 to have my A/C fixed, and they came out and fixed it, no problem. Then my next claim was filed in May 2012, for someone to come look at my deep freeze, and this is where all the bad service started. They took weeks and weeks to get someone out to my house to look at my freezer, then after the company came out to assess the freezer, Arkidus never contacted me again, I've tried calling and sending emails almost every day for the past 2 months, and I get no response, and now their phone lines only give me a busy tone. I actually reached someone in the sales department one day and they said that they couldnt believe that it was the companys fault that my claim had been outstanding this long, they connected me to the claims department and I talked to a lady who was going to pass on my claim to Ray Berges (although i had already emailed and called Ray directly numerous times before this, so I knew it would be unlikely that I would hear back from him). I filed a complaint with the BBB in August 2012. My freezer is still broke and I feel like a complete idiot for switching from my reputable home warranty company to this one. Its obviously a pyramid scheme, and didn't seem to last very long for them.
