Education is focus

First-time investor in gold.
I called to speak to a representative, but instead had to schedule a web meeting when we both were available. Scheduling was difficult.
Two days later, I signed in with Zoom. It was easy. I received a condescending email with a two-minute video telling me to go to a quiet room, remove all distractions, have pen and paper in hand, etc. Felt like first grade. Almost didn't attend the web conference.
Glad I did, however. The web conference was particularly good. Focused on education, not sales. The facts of gold investing, factors affecting the market, and how gold/silver is priced, bought, and sold. The presentation was excellent, but left little room for questions. The subject matter was clearly presented and was what I needed. Afterward, I realized they had answered all my questions before I was able to ask them.
Although I was uncomfortable with the delayed scheduling and the one-way web presentation- it was a fruitful experience. I learned a lot and left pleased
