Absolute scam artists!

I just want everyone to know and hopefully can help someone else not to be scammed by this company. I was completely scammed out of $5600. They make a bunch of promises, scare you about the FTB and the IRS and put a ton of pressure on you to get all their
money up front ..as well as charge an adsorbent amount of money for their services which you could be putting towards your tax debt. Then once they have your money they do nothing! They actually caused a tax levy because they made 2 "inquiry" calls to the
FTB but didn't ask about setting up a payment plan or resolving the issues. The FTB levied my account because nothing was being done. I called ATS immediately, at 8am to be exact and was told by David that they would have one of their "Attorneys" get right
on it and then proceeded to do nothing and disappear for the rest of the day. I called ATS and waited until 4:45 pm and then after no return calls, called the FTB myself to find out what was up. They told me they had gotten the 2 inquiries but that nothing
was said about fixing the situation so they felt the only recourse was to levy my account. Within 15 minutes I was able to get 2/3 of the money released, the levy removed and agree to pay $500/mo until the matter of my back taxes is resolved. Since they have
done nothing for me, don't return calls, transfer my file to another Account Manager and then try to say that since I called the FTB they won't work on my state case any longer. I said well then I want 1/2 my money back and they said no so I said I no longer
wish to retain your services and they ignored me, I made several calls and emails which they ignored and finally got a call back yesterday from some slimeball named Tom Jeer? that says he is compliance officer and that I'm not eligible for a refund because
I contacted the FTB! I had no choice, they did nothing in fact actually caused a problem. In all of their ads they refer to themselves as Attorneys but funny, on my call he laughed and said we aren't Attorneys or a Law Firm. I am filing a complaint with the
Attorney General as well as suing them for all of my money to be refunded. I told them they could charge for the couple of hours (at most) for the 2 calls and emails they sent and refund the rest. He refused. They are scam artists, praying on people that are
in fear of the IRS and FTB. Don't be, they will work with you and NOT STEAL your money as this fraudulent company does. I will be doing my best to get them shut down - the government is cracking down on companies like this that are predatory.
